Introduction to Virtual Instrumentation
Using LabVIEW®

Program
The presentation will include an overview of LabVIEW® and its basic applications. The presentation will explain the basic components of a virtual instrument, common functions, graphical programming techniques and subroutines in LabVIEW®. The basics of data acquisition will also be discussed.

Speaker
Dr Norali Pernalete is Associate professor in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology the College of Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she has been for the past three years. Prior, she was an Assistant Professor at Western Michigan University. She holds a Master's degree from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida, both in Electrical Engineering. Her teaching and research interests are in Control Systems and Robotics applied to Rehabilitation Engineering.

Norali has also given training classes for ISA San Diego Section at I/C Expo 09.
