Vibration Monitoring - De-Mystified
Vibration analysis has long been thought of as a "Black Art". This presentation will hopefully shed some light on the intricacies of Vibration Analysis and how it can help your facility with reliability and operational efficiency goals. In this class you will learn the rudimentary basics of the Time Waveform, Frequency and Spectral analysis and how this data can become valuable information for operational, maintenance and productivity decision making.
Speaker: Winston Mizelle is the Business Development Manager for SEC of America, Inc.; a division of Shinkawa Electric, which is a global leader in vibration monitoring, protection and analysis systems. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and his education and experience is rooted in Information Systems. During his career he has worked for various technology companies like GE - (Aerospace Division), Entek IRD and Rockwell Automation. He's been in the vibration monitoring industry for 13 years in varying roles, including Field Service Engineer, Technical Trainer, Applications Engineer and Corporate Reliability Programs Manager. Within these roles, Winston has spanned industries, including Power Generation, Petro-Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals. In his current role, he relies heavily upon his experience to assist customers with identifying unreliable assets and creating the best solution to meet their immediate and future needs. He is a member of the ISA Houston Chapter, the Vibration Institute and is a Level II Certified Vibration Analyst.
