4. MOTIONS
4.1 The Chair may request that all main motions and amendments thereto shall be presented to the President-elect Secretary, in writing, and shall be signed by the maker of the motion.
4.2 All resolutions shall be presented to the President-elect Secretary by 5:00 p.m. on the afternoon prior to the Society Delegates meeting.
4.3 All resolutions, except those offered by the Executive Board or by committees, shall be referred to the Resolutions Committee to be presented with recommendations to the Society Delegate meeting. [Note: The Resolutions Committee is comprised of the President-elect Secretary, Past President and Parliamentarian. The 2010 Resolutions Committee members are Leo Staples, Jerry Cockrell, and Jim Keaveney.]
4.4 A two-thirds affirmative vote of the delegate body is necessary before an emergency resolution shall be considered.
