Thompson Award Based on the deliberations of the ISA Honors & Awards Committee and approval of the ISA Executive Board, Dr. Elhami T. Ibrahim has been selected to receive the Don W. Thompson Award. The award presentation includes a $500 honorarium and a plaque. The award citation reads: For exemplary efforts to mentor students and support local student activity. View Tour Scheduled for the Los Angeles Sanitation District Joint Water Pollution Control Plant By special invitation, ISA Los Angeles Section will be having a special behind-the-scene van tour on Tuesday, September 19th! Following the tour, we will meet at Janos Pizza nearby for an update on the February 22nd table-top show, Instrumentation 2007 and pizza. PLC, instrumentation, CCST Training Series to be Held A series of three instrumentation courses has been scheduled this year by the Los Angeles Section. Classes will be held on weekday evenings and each of the three sessions will consist of a total of nine classroom hours. Courses will be conducted by professional trainers and are not product specific.
